In fact, due to this inability in leadership and the lack of response from church leaders, many churches are falling apart. Satan is having a party and the Pastors and the deacons are the mariachi band. Is this what God called you for? The reason why you received Godly ordination, if it is indeed a Godly calling?

The Armenian genocide: The sad truth

It is called by many names but the most popular ones include Armenian Holocaust, The Great Calamity, Armenian Massacre but the name I prefer using, when considering the single greatest event that has the most influence throughout the 20th century and into the 21st century, would be the Armenian Genocide. Unlike the many other events and marvels that spawned in the 20th century, the Armenian Genocide was the first systematic genocide to take place in the modern world, in the name of political ambitions, religious intolerance and racial discrimination. Moreover, unlike the other wonders of the 20th century, this genocide is the second most studied genocide in history and is acknowledged by only twenty-one nations out of the one-hundred-and-ninety-three member global community.

Muslim member of Congress joins anti-Semitism task force

The only Muslim member of Congress has joined its anti-Semitism task force.

"I am honored to join the Congressional Anti-Semitism Task Force because it embodies the ideals and principles that have guided and shaped my life," said US Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.).

Congressional task forces, which conduct informational hearings, have no legislative role. The anti-Semitism one was founded earlier this summer by Rep.

Tom Lantos (D-Calif.), the chairman of the Foreign Affairs committee of the US House of Representatives. Its co-chairmen are US Reps. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) and Ron Klein (D-Fla.).

Are modern Muslim fatwas (religious orders issued by leaders of Islam) fueling Islamic extremism?

Wahhabi or the Wasabi Sect of Islam is spreading throughout the western world and into Europe and Americas. This sect originates in Saudi Arabia and they are training new mullahs or imams or Islamic preachers to go out into mosques in western nations and preach the religious ideas of intolerance, hate, discrimination, terrorism and Jihad.

Religious leaders and preachers like Sheikh Yasin, Sheikh Feiz, Dr Ijaz Mian and many others have called for Jihad against non-believers and has called for executions of anyone who converts from Islam to any other religion. Such bigotry and discriminatory and extreme language is a major contributing factor to the rise of Islamic Fundamentalism and Extremism.

Islamic Extremism did not just spring out of nothing, it all started within the mosques. Many young children and young adults are brain-washed into this hate filled religious ideology that teaches to kill and despise non-Islamic people. The real people to blame for the rising violence in Iraq, or the rising Islamic Jihad is the Islamic teachers themselves, the imams and the sheikhs, not president George Bush or Tony Blair.

Inside the Green Lane mosque in Birmingham, a preacher is recorded saying: 'Allah has created the woman deficient.' A satellite broadcast from the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdul Aziz al-Sheikh, beamed into the Green Lane mosque suggests that Muslim children should be hit if they don't pray: 'When he is seven, tell him to go and pray, and start hitting them when they are 10.' Another preacher is heard saying that if a girl 'doesn't wear hijab, we hit her'.

Another preacher says: 'The time is fast approaching where the tables are going to turn and the Muslims are going to be in the position of being uppermost in strength and, when that happens, people won't get killed - unjustly.' Another speaker says Muslims cannot accept the rule of non-Muslims. 'You cannot accept the rule of the kaffir [a derogatory term for non-Muslims],' a preacher, Dr Ijaz Mian, tells a meeting held within the mosque in Britian. 'We have to rule ourselves and we have to rule the others.'

George's Crazy Night Out

It was a cloudy rainy night as usual. The days were getting shorter and the nights darker. George was having a long day and he was tired from work. As he has been doing for so long, he simply drove home. The rain storm and the dark clouds were not making this any easier on him. He simply wanted to get home, for some warm hot home-cooked food. Thoughts of home were not making the journey in the rain any pleasant. George was wondering what his wife was up to now, if his kids had already eaten dinner.

He always regretted that he could not be home more often, not even to sit and eat at a family dinner. Work was always straining, he noticed every part of his family life was in shambles. George has not slept with his wife for few months now and he longed for the past days, when they were all together even though they did not have much. He was in a hurry, it was Friday night and he was unusually late.

He did call home and did tell his wife that he probably would not make it home tonight, but the feeling of home that he so missed was intolerable. The rain is gaining in strength but he wanted to get home before it got worse. The forecast did say there was thunderstorms and heavy flooding for tonight. After over an hour stuck in the middle of nowhere in traffic, he began to see the familiar sight of his street. As George drove up, he did notice a black van parked in front of his house.

What can we really do for Darfur?

Build the Pressure on Sudan... That is all we can do for Darfur right now. I want to give you a first look at the new Save Darfur Coalition TV ad.

The ad is powerful, pointing to years of Sudan's broken promises and empty agreements to the international community. All the while, the images remind us that the people of Darfur continue to suffer - and that the death toll in the world's worst humanitarian crisis is still rising.
